These include Kruger National Park, the Okavango Delta, Etosha National Park (large salt flat andsurrounding landscapes), Sossusvlei dune area (actually part of a very large dune field), the Kalahari Gemsbok National Park (Part of a larger transfrontier park of the Kalahari Desert) and the area known as the Cape Floral Kingdom – a unique botanical zone at the southern tip of South Africa. This has a very diverse flora due to the topographic relief (that leads to climatic variations as well) as well as geological diversity.
